UFC SUMMER INTERNSHIP

During the summer of 2026, I was based in Las Vegas, working with the UFC social media team and contributing to fight-week coverage and social media content for UFC’s Spanish and global platforms.

Working in Las Vegas gave me the opportunity to experience the fast-paced world of UFC firsthand. Throughout the summer, I worked on different aspects of content production, including photography, videography, video editing, social media publishing, and real-time fight coverage. From capturing moments during practices, media days, and weigh-ins to creating and publishing content during fight nights, I saw how a global sports organization brings an event to life across its digital platforms.

One highlight of my experience was working UFC 329: Conor McGregor vs. Max Holloway. Being part of a numbered event let me work in the middle of fight week, capturing content as the action unfolded and quickly turning photos and video into social media content. I worked on everything from taking photographs and filming video to editing content, writing captions, and publishing posts for UFC's Hispanic audience.

Throughout the summer, I collaborated with members of UFC's global digital media team while adapting content for Spanish-speaking audiences across platforms including Instagram, Threads, Facebook, and X. The experience challenged me to work quickly, think creatively, and adapt to the constant pace of live sports and entertainment.

My time with the UFC let me combine my passion for sports, photography, videography, and digital storytelling while gaining firsthand experience behind the scenes of some of the biggest events in combat sports.
